I. Introduction.

This tutorial will teaches you how to install Python on Windows system. Python is a high-level programming language, application in numerous areas: include web programming, scripting, scientific computing and artificial intelligence.
Python is processed at runtime by the interpreter.

Python have major versios of Python are 1.x, 2.x and 3.x
Code written for Python 3.x is guaranteed to work in all future versions.

An interpreter is a program that runs scripts written in an interpreted language as Python.

II. Install Python on Windows by step by step.

To install Python on Windows. Follow these steps:
Step 1. Download Python.
Step 2. Install Python.
Step 3. Testing the Installation.
Step 4. First Program with Python.

Step 1. Download Python.

On browser, access home page of Python: https://www.python.org. Download version for Windows.

Step 2. Install Python.

Now you go step by step. Double click into [ Python 3 Installer ] file.

The first is you click into checkbox to add Python to PATH. Then Click into [ Install Now ] option.
You can also choose [ Customize installation ] option.

Installation completed. Press the close button.

Step 3. Testing after install is complete.

Press the Windows key + R key on your keyboard. Enter [ cmd ] keyword. Click [ OK ] button.

At the Prompt Command. Enter [ python –version ] then press the Enter key your keyboard.

Finally istalling Python on Windows is complete.

Step 4. First Program with Python.

Enter command below into the Promt Command:

python
print(“HelloWorld!”);
exit();

Sample Output:

C:\Users\Administrator>python
Python 3.7.4 (tags/v3.7.4:e09359112e, Jul  8 2019, 19:29:22) [MSC v.1916 32 bit
(Intel)] on win32
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> print("HelloWorld!");
HelloWorld!
>>> exit();

Note: In the case, you forgot to click the checkbox is [Set Python 3.7 to PATH]. Let’s set PATH by manual.

1. [Right Click] Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Environment Variables
2. Click [New] under “System Variable”
3. Variable Name: PY_HOME, Variable Value: C:\Users\{Windows_User_logged}\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37-32
4. Click [OK]
5. Locate the “Path” System variable and click [Edit]
6. Add the following to the existing variable:
%PY_HOME%;%PY_HOME%\Lib;%PY_HOME%\DLLs;%PY_HOME%\Lib\lib-tk;
7. Click [OK] to close all of the windows.
